Prabda, Mui and Tilted Axis hit the road!

  • Asia House, The Poetry Translation Centre and SOAS! London UK

We at TAP are thrilled to be bringing Prabda Yoon, author of our upcoming title The Sad Part Was to the UK for a series of exciting launch events in London.  In 2002, The Sad Part Was netted Prabda the most prestigious literary award in South East Asia and made him a household name; this year, it was chosen as a 'Book to Watch' by both Buzzfeed and The Guardian. Celebrating & supporting both translation & translators is central to our mission, so we're especially pleased that Mui Poopoksakul, who won an English PEN Award for her stunning translation, will be sharing the limelight.

We'll be kicking things off at Asia House on Monday the 13th of March from 6.45- 9pm. Book your tickets here.

Our second event will be held at The Poetry Translation Centre, London on Tuesday the 14th of March from 6.30-8.30pm. Get your tickets here.

Lastly, we'll be officially launching at SOAS on Thursday the 16th of March from 6-7pm. This is a free event so join us for what's sure to be a memorable night!
